OC: Stay Cool

A Certain Age

Just because you aren't twenty-one doesn't mean you can't be hip. Annette Bening was more than chic at last year's Academy Awards when she wore Retrospecs Walter frame in black. Retrospecs goes around the world finding original vintage frames in mass quantities that have never been worn - the Walter is a classic and beautiful frame that was recovered in three colors - gray, black and tortoise. You can wear a little piece of history that looks fab with black tie and cute with Converse and stay hip with the times - even if it's time that has past.

OC: Safe Goes Chic

Safety First

This original 1950s safety frame from Retrospecs has never been worn. When someone says "they still make this frame" I can't help but chuckle a little bit - that's like saying Ray Ban still makes the Wayfarer. Like most things, the original is always the best, and when you pair mid-century eyewear quality with a custom polarized lens with a silver gradient mirror you get a frame that is more than just cool. I love the idea of a Spring ski in these sunnies - they totally take retro chic to a whole new level...and did I mention they meet ANSI safety standards (wink, wink)...
