The Perfect Pair: A CFDA Duo

Rebecca Minkoff x Shane Baum

I was so excited when I first heard about the new collection of shades for Rebecca Minkoff. Not only am I totally obsessed with her neons this Spring, her ad campaign featuring Agnyess Deyn makes even this straight girl swoon! When I asked Shane Baum about his collaboration with the fellow CFDA member and accessory designer extraordinaire, he said "she is just a cool, real person...and she's so sweet" and after meeting Shane I can tell why these two were a natural fit! Shane commented that Rebecca Minkoff's brand resonates with him and with all of her followers on Twitter because she "has a definitive point of view and there's a certain sense of honesty" to what she does.

Together they took her perspective and created a line that not only complements her accessories collection, but also represents her honest vision - and did I mention it's pretty darn cute and at a price point that's super guilt free? From the runways of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week to your favorite optical shop, Rebecca Minkoff's mix of metal and acetate sunnies are all under $300...and quite adorable too!

Shane Baum and Rebecca Minkoff are pictured here, along with one of my favorites of the collection, The Chelsea, retailing at $150 (Also, can we please talk about the perfect amount of shoulder pad that Ms. Minkoff has going on?!)! Love!
